Our occasional craft workshops here at Broadrake continue to prove very popular. This year has obviously been difficult due to Covid but as lockdown is gradually easing we have started to run a number of socially distanced courses again. As we move into autumn there are courses in scything, blacksmithing, spoon carving, carved fan birds, willow curlews and shoulder bags and, new for this year, cleft wood hurdle gates.
Of course you could also consider Broadrake as a venue for your own special interest group. The barn is available for residential or daytime use and can sleep up to 20 with excellent kitchen facilities for catering. The open plan upstairs space is suitable for meetings and activities such as art groups, music, yoga etc. If you have any ideas you want to discuss or would like to visit to see if the barn is suitable please get in touch.
