Come to an illustrated talk by Pete Collins on Nightscape Photography in the Yorkshire Dales. Pete is a keen amateur astronomer who takes stunning nightscape photography. You can see his work displayed locally or visit his website www.diamond-skies.co.uk.

Pete will give you an insight into how he produces his images using just a DSLR camera and a triopd. Then if the skies are clear there may be an opportunity to head outside for stargazing and a practical session. It is not essential but if you have them bring along a DSLR and tripod and wrap up warm for outside.
Refreshments will be provided and Pete will bring along a selection of his prints available to purchase.
