Come and make a fantastic willow bag. Starting with a ready made rectangular frame for a Catalan base you will learn to weave your own shoulder bag or handbag, finished with leather handles.
There will be opportunities to use different weaves, with various final shapes, sizes and handle positioning options. It is suitable for total beginners as well as those with some weaving experience.
Tutor Anna Turnbull is a Fine Arts graduate of Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts in London. She now lives on her Northumberland smallholding and runs a number of courses from there as well appearing at local festivals, shows & exhibitions and demonstrating at Beamish Museum.
